Empowering Bladder Health
My mission is to empower women living with interstitial cystitis through education, self-awareness, and evidence-informed strategies that support bladder health and symptom management. The Happy Bladder Program is a naturopathic doctor-guided 12-week telehealth or in-person program that combines nutrition, bladder retraining education, pelvic floor relaxation concepts, nervous system regulation tools, and individualized naturopathic guidance to help California women better understand and address the factors contributing to their symptoms.

About Dr. Julianna Englund
I created the Happy Bladder Program after years of working with women struggling with interstitial cystitis, bladder pain, urgency, and frequency. Many women receive fragmented information about diet, supplements, pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder retraining, and stress, yet never receive a clear framework for understanding how these pieces fit together.
The Happy Bladder Program is a doctor-guided 12-week program that combines one-on-one naturopathic care with carefully selected educational resources. During our visits, we discuss your symptoms, review your progress, and develop a personalized plan based on your unique situation. Following each visit, I may assign educational videos, guided meditations, self-hypnosis recordings, worksheets, or other resources that reinforce the topics we discussed and support your healthful efforts between appointments.
Rather than overwhelming you with information all at once, the program provides a structured, step-by-step approach that allows you to focus on the strategies most relevant to your needs at each stage of the process.
My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and empowered with practical tools that can help you better understand and manage your symptoms.

A Patient-Centered Approach
Living with Interstitial Cystitis can be frustrating, isolating, and overwhelming. Many women spend years searching for answers, trying different treatments, and feeling discouraged by setbacks. My goal is to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered with practical tools and education. Rather than focusing on a single solution, I help women take a thoughtful, step-by-step approach to understanding and addressing the many factors that may be contributing to their symptoms.

Continual Learning
The understanding of Interstitial Cystitis, chronic pelvic pain, and nervous system regulation continues to evolve. I am committed to ongoing professional education and regularly review emerging research and clinical approaches related to bladder health, nutrition, mind-body medicine, pelvic floor dysfunction, and chronic pain. This commitment allows me to continually refine the educational tools and strategies I share with patients through the Happy Bladder Program.
